Each guest room has its own style, and maintains the 1920s look. All rooms have private bathrooms and in good working condition. The building and the domestic hot water is heated mainly by a wood burning boiler (Central Boiler) and backed up by a new propane boiler. 

The exterior was repainted in the summer of 2016. A complete new roof was installed as well in 2016. The current owner has had owned it since 2010 and is constantly adding improvements. She and her pilot husband want to retire soon. 

We have an absolutely beautiful saloon with a Brunswick, Balke, Callander bar, pool table, dance hall as well as a huge commercial kitchen, large dining room, separate banquet/meeting room. There is a huge basement (5,000sqft) that has loads of storage, commercial washer and dryer, large walk in cooler and a walk in freezer.

We host the annual Cowboy-Victorian Ball each December and the building comes alive with over 100 attendees each year.

 The Town of Fairplay is still a small, quiet community up in the high Rockies. We have Gold Medal fishing, mountain climbing nearby, National Forest surrounds us as well as clean air and wildlife. We are only 23 miles from Breckenridge Ski Resort. We are the town featured in the famed cartoon series, South Park. Currently, we are hosting the reality show, Gold Rush.
