OWNERS QUARTERS for 2 includes a bedroom upstairs with queen bed, walk-in closet & lots of shelf space, an office/sitting room, and a large bathroom with new soaking tub.  Downstairs spacious kitchen is private, with a half door that opens to greet guests in the Guest Lounge.  The beautiful dining room/living room is only open for the guests during breakfast.  This room has an attached bedroom which is closed off for guests (who use a private entrance) or opened up to main house when used by visiting family members. 

OWNER OPTIONS:  New owners could rent out current upstairs living space to a cook, housekeeper or caretaker.  Why not park in one of the RV spaces while building your new home?  

2 CAR GARAGE is set up to become a living unit if desired, with windows, side door and laundry room with bathroom & shower.

AMERICAN OUTBACK some call it.  The scenery is amazing.  Hiking like nowhere else. We are located on one of the most scenic highways in the world, Utah highway 12, between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef, in the center of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Hikers come from around the world.  Even with Europe's travel restrictions, business is great, as this is one of the most popular places for our fellow Americans to "get away from it all."  

ABOUT ESCALANTE:  This is a lovely community of 750 people, and so quiet at night for our guests.  We have everything we need, even farm-to-table restaurants nearby & amazing pizza.  We have a decent grocery store, a very nice hardware store, and delivery service from Amazon, Walmart & Costco.  But, you will have to drive at least an hour to a movie theater!   Many residents enjy a monthly trip 2 hrs 20 min to the "Big City" of Cedar City or St. George.  Others stock up, grow a garden and avoid the city.

DIVERSITY.  We have everything from mountains with fishing and hunting, to farms and ranches, canyons with waterfalls, hoodoos and arches,and fun slot canyons to explore.  Everything from Christians to athiests, conservatives and lIberals, artists and cowboys, young and old.... and we get along fine. 

ELEVATION & CLIMATE to enjoy nature YEAR-ROUND.  At almost 6,000 ft.  Spring and fall are lovely.  Summer stays under 100 degrees.  Winters get some snow, but rarely over 1 foot at a time.  More and more travelors are coming in winters months, so you can stay open or partially open as you wish, or go to Mexico for the winter.
