The Gyory family invites you to view their much loved Victorian home in northern Berks County. The original tracts of land were bought by Wm Penn's heirs in 1732 from local Indians. The land was then purchased in 1752 by Daniel Boucher where a "modest log cabin" was built. The current home was built in the 1870s & stayed in the family for almost a century. It has been updated for comfort & modern conveniences, still maintaining its heritage. The Boucher family and subsequent owners have also operated the "Guest House" as a Bed & Breakfast since the early 1900s. Whether you enjoy history, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, bird watching at Hawk Mountain, or cycling in the countryside, you will be enthralled by all that encompasses this property. The home, out buildings, Carriage House and Cottage (the old summer kitchen), organic gardens & fruit trees, are close to Shopping, Schools and major roadways and make this locale perfect. See yourself owning this 4.1 acre piece of paradise!
