I was responsible for fixing and serving breakfast for up to 10 guests (maximum inn capacity), setting up the evening wine/snacks, checking in/out guests, providing guests with tourist information, doing laundry, cleaning rooms, washing dishes. We are an experienced, professional American couple seeking a full-time, live-in innkeeper or general manager position (with a salary) anywhere in the US or abroad.
In short, for the last 1.5 years my wife and I have been the full-time, live-in general managers of a nine-room beachfront Inn in Mexico. Here we have been responsible for the total operation and upkeep (administration, guest relations, employee management, property management, etc.) of a $3 million property for an American owner living in the USA.
Personally, we are married, no kids, no pets, and come from professional, customer service focused fields (she has a doctorate within the medical field, I am a lawyer,). We are very organized, detail oriented, and technology/Internet savvy. Above all, we are accustomed to working and being available to guests 24/7, providing warm and gracious hospitality, and willing to do everything in our power to assist the owner their continued growth and profit.
