Great seafood restaurants and shops are in the larger historic towns of Belhaven and Washington, each about 15 miles in opposite directions from Bath.
Guests can walk to Blackbeard’s Slice and Ice for great Italian, the fresh catch of the day, and listen to music by local musicians on the outside deck with sunset views over Bath Creek. Meet friends and neighbors at the Country Kitchen for lunch, dinner and after church on Sunday. The Quarter Deck offers boaters launching facilities, fuel and ship store. The Bath Creek Marina and Town Dock are located within walking distance of the Inn on Bath Creek.
Bath Creek offers easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway, prime boating, kayaking and fishing along the Inner Banks. The Albemarle Trail, Outer Banks, Manteo “The Lost Colony”, and Ocracoke are within a day’s drive. Annual events include Bath Fest, Art Festivals, Croquet Tournament, Historic Tours, Historic Home and Garden Tours, Christmas Parade, Oktoberfest, and special events are scheduled weekly and monthly during the year.
