This beautifully restored inn was built in the 1800’s, as a Sea Captain’s home and converted to B&B use in 1989. This grand building features deep frontage on the Back River and offers picturesque views out to the Sheepscot River and the famous swing bridge at Trevett. Crown moldings and Bay windows with scroll trim work are just some of the original features still displayed.
There are 9 tastefully decorated guest rooms with King and Queen beds, each with a private bath, several of which offer an electric fireplace for ambience and additional heat.
A fully equipped kitchen serves the dining room and is also used as the owner’s kitchen. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the dining room or on the front porch.

The parlor, one of two common rooms, offers guests a cozy place to relax beside a gas fireplace surrounded by an Italian marble mantel. The “library” is a second common area, featuring built-in bookshelves and a window seat.
